To apply to be a stallholder at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market, you need to:
1. Determine if your product is primary produce or value added. (The 100 point check lists produce relevant to each category.)
2. Complete a 100 point self assessment, to check if you are eligible to apply If you do not reach 100 points, you are not eligible to become a stallholder.
3. Complete an Expression of Interest form, to formally apply to be a stallholder 4. Read and understand the ASFM stallholder rules and responsibilities to familiarise yourself with our requirements and your responsibilities if you are successful in your application.
Important areas to note are: Clause 2 (pg 4): definitions of "grower" and "Producer" Clause 2.1 (pg 5): Stallholder eligibility Clause 2.2 (pg 5): Stallholder obligations Clause 2.3 (pg 6): Allowable produce Clause 2.5 (pg 8): Reselling and onselling
If your application is successful, we will request the following documents:
A copy of your ABN registration
A copy of your Food Business Notification number from your Council
A copy of Certificate of Currency (Insurance)
All relevant Certificates of Accreditation relating to hygiene, transportation, food safety
Compliance with current labelling regulations
A copy of your Risk Management Plan
Our approval process also includes a site visit prior to commencement at the Market.
Successful applicants will receive: A letter of approval with a list of allowable products An induction prior to attending their first Market A car parking pass for parking on Market days
