WE WON!
We are very proud to announce that we won the Rural Solutions SA Services to Industry category in the SA Premier's Food Awards .
We were delighted to accept this award on behalf of the ASFM committee, our dedicated staff, volunteers, our 1800 members and customers and last but by no means least, our producers who get up early every Sunday to provide such fabulous produce every week.
Since we opened in October 2006, support for the ASFM has been extraordinary and we sincerely thank our growing list of sponsor partners who have played such a huge role in enabling us to provide such a high level of service to the food industry.

This is the time of year to be relishing the lovely stonefruit. Plums and peaches have just started. Don't forget that cherries are still going strong - they aren't just a Christmas treat when the price is this good!
There is plenty of salad goodies at the Market at this time of year. The standard garden salad is always a hit and very quick and easy to prepare. A couple of char-grilled marinated chicken fillets on top of a salad is a very easy and healthy dinner for the whole family.
Why not try something a little different to keep the kids interested - like a pear and rocket salad?
Throw some cheese in any salad to make it that much more tasty. Kids love to help - get them to wash the salad or assemble it in the bowl.
My kids love to have their own individual salad that has only their favourite veggies in it - a sure fire way to get them to eat it!
The Blue Ribbon Cookbook is available for sale in the ASFM Site office are $40 for non-members and $35 for members. It is full of recipes, stories and tips from prizewinning country show cooks. It is a beautiful book with all the favourite old recipes that you can never find anywhere else!
The Kids can also get active on the Beef Cattle Lawn with Life. Be In It from 9.30am.
